The 10th Anniversary Celebration of the New Yorkers For Children Fool's Fete at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, NYC Part 1
Spring is here and it was amazing to be out on such a beautiful night with such lovely weather. What a treat to be a the Mandarin Oriental Hotel for the 10th Anniversary Celebration of the New Yorkers For Children Fool's Fete
The evenings presenting sponsor was Valentino so when David Stark designed the event he took inspiration from Valentino's Spring Collection using cherry blossoms and hundreds of silver mirrored candles to light the room.
Some of the women wearing Valentino were Dayssi Olarte de Kanavos, Olivia Chantecaill, Hilary Rhoda and Jill Kargman.
And the men looked fabulous too............. Just scroll down..............
The 10th Anniversary Celebration of the New Yorkers For Children Fool's Fete at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, NYC
Last night was the 10th Anniversary celebration of the New Yorkers For Children Fool's Fete.
When I first arrived at the 10th Anniversary celebration of the New Yorkers For Children Fool's Fete the guests were already seated and listening to the speeches so I turned of my flash so as not to disturb the program and snapped some photos with my 70-200mm lens on my 5D Mark3.
Ballet Hispanico Spring Gala 2013
Monday was a great night for Ballet Hispanico as they held their Spring Gala at the Plaza Hotel.
The evening celebrated the legacy of its School of dance and honored Randy Falco, President & CEO of Univision Communications.
There was live music from the Spanish Harlem Orchestra but best of all there were performances by the Ballet Hispanico Company and the students of the ballet Hispanico School.
The children are so inspiring. It takes me back to my own childhood dance concerts. I see their fun and excitement and it puts such a big smile on my face.
The event raised over one million dollars thanks to the generosity of those who attended.
