How exciting it was to be present at The Met Opera's opening night Gala at Lincoln Center as the official Met photographer. It was a night of many firsts. The Opera was FIRE SHUT UP IN MY BONES. With music by Terence Blanchard, this is the first opera by a black composer in the 138-year history of the Met, and the second (after George Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess) to feature an all-Black cast.
It was especially great to see so many familiar faces that I have been so missing for so long. To see all the photos please go to PHOTO LINK
