Last night was the opening of Armida at the Metropolitan Opera and as expected the crowd was decked out. Yves Saint Laurent sponsored the event. The guests included Julianna Margulies, Jennifer Morrison, Chloe Sevigny, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Fabiola Beracasa, Patricia Clarkson, Christine Baranski, Jennifer Morrison,John Lithgow, Emily Mortimer, Ginnifer Goodwin and Mercedes Bass with her Husband Sid and Marie Josee and Henry Kravis. I got to see the first act. It was really amazing. How voices can fill the space is just unbelievable to me. The gala guests arrived at 6 and had the most yummy dinner that started with a lobster and avocado salad followed with beef and foie gras. They then went into the opera and at intermission they returned to their tables on the Grand Tier for a chocolate dessert. Thanks to all the team at the Met.
