They say April showers bring the flowers so this morning I headed out into the rain to visit the Shakespeare Garden below Belvedere Castle in Central Park. Apart for a dog walker and a jogger or two the only other people I saw were a young couple visiting from San Diego.
I love the tulip magnolia trees. There are a few near the Boat House but my favorite are the ones in front of the Frick Museum on 5th Ave.
